In our school, the main objective is to provide children with a sense of tranquility, security, and decision-making skills to enable them to BE, both individually and in groups. This facilitates their autonomous development and a healthy identity on a personal and social level.
A space where emotional health is the foundation of the project, emphasizing care and unconditional support to meet human needs for Freedom, Respect, Limits, Love, and Trust.
Freedom: to BE and allow our unique and authentic potential to flourish.
Respect: recognizing that each person's life processes are unique, responding to their needs, rhythms, relationships, values, and particular interests. Through current knowledge of developmental needs and stages, we can support optimal individual and social development within the community.
Limits: to make freedom possible in a space where the physical and emotional well-being of our children is central. This involves fostering healthy behavior where we can express our needs and feelings at any time without harming ourselves or others. Family participation is crucial in aligning with this approach and engaging in personal work.
Love and Trust: the primary motivation behind our behavior is love for oneself, others, the environment, and nature. This translates into interest, joy, sharing, and respect for the choices and offerings of children and others in the community.
Education is based on Active, Living, non-directive Pedagogies, with respectful support for each person's diverse and unique processes. It is integral and personalized, drawing from Neuroeducation principles that prioritize Meaningful (comprehensive, lasting, generalizable, interconnected) and Experiential Learning (through doing).
We prepare children for the world they are growing into, allowing them to actively construct their knowledge. We use cutting-edge tools and cultural development practices to provide maximum support with minimal interference.
Under the philosophy of sharing and living on the planet sustainably, following Permaculture, which is grounded in three ethical principles:

Share resources through collaboration
A non-profit project.
Additionally:
• Generating networks with our closest and local environment (Alpedrete-surroundings, Madrid, Spain) and farther and international (primarily English-speaking but not exclusively).
• Fostering quality relationships within the family and educational community through spaces for reflection and security.
• Involving families in the activities of their children in school and beyond, and promoting leisure and enjoyment among children, families, and companions.
• Showcasing the day-to-day work in the school directly with families through regular group and individual-family meetings.

It's important to add that in our space, we have designed and grounded the process of connection with adult companions in the educational space, responding to the needs of the children, and including their families if necessary.

P.S.: Do you need a space to develop your profession/passion? If your activity aligns with the foundational principles of the project, we have 3 rooms and outdoor space available for rent by the hour, afternoon, or weekends. Two of the rooms can be made nearly open-plan if needed. All have natural light, and the outdoor space has around 2000 square meters with trees and a garden.
