El Sitio de tu Recreo is a school for children aged 0 to 3, based on the principles of Conscious Parenting.
We are located in the heart of Madrid, in the Chamberí neighborhood, where we create a joyful, healthy, and playful environment to stimulate each child’s unique potential.
We also have our own outdoor patio, an urban garden, and an in-house kitchen that prepares a balanced and organic menu.
Our methodology is rooted in conscious parenting. Every day, we apply direct, attentive, and non-intrusive observation to provide each child with what best suits them—so they grow up healthy, happy, autonomous, and confident in their true potential.
Our goal is to support children's development in a balanced way across all areas: psychomotor, sensory and perceptual, cognitive, emotional, and social.
We respect their natural rhythms and routines—without rushing, but always within a necessary structure. We provide boundaries that build confidence and routines that help them flourish and meet their needs.
Conscious parenting offers individualized care and attention, so our children grow up with a strong sense of self-confidence and trust in their surroundings, feeling secure in their abilities—and of course, full of joy.
To make this possible, everything at El Sitio de tu Recreo has a clear purpose. We carefully evaluate each activity or innovation, only implementing it if it answers the question: Will this improve our children’s well-being in the short and medium term?
We attentively observe each child throughout their developmental stages. We create an atmosphere of trust and security, where they can express themselves freely, show us their needs, and develop their innate potential—with respect and care.
We offer the best not only for each individual child, but also for the group as a whole—supporting all aspects of development during these foundational years, including intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
At El Sitio de tu Recreo, families are a fundamental part of our community. We believe in a close and collaborative school-family relationship to ensure children grow in a healthy, balanced way, in harmony with their environment.
All our materials, equipment, and hygiene products are eco-friendly, aligned with the philosophy of the center.
We use underfloor radiant heating, allowing children to go barefoot year-round. Our air is also continuously purified by high-capacity filtration systems that remove up to 99.8% of airborne particles, helping protect and enhance children's health.
