Espacio de acompañamiento a la crianza
NINU is a space for children to play, explore, and learn. For children and babies from 6 months old to 6 years old. It offers a personalised approach, with a maximum of twelve children and three or four children per teacher. The playgroup finds its inspiration in various pedagogies such as Pikler, Montessori, Waldorf, and Rebeca Wild.
The parents stay with their child until he/she is well settled in the playgroup and feels comfortable with the environment and the teacher. The families support and follow the teacher's cues whilst they are in the space, and we ask them to be as discreet and quiet as possible. We ask for the parents to cook for the whole group in shifts.
In NINU, adults learn as much as children. The families who are part of the project have an interest in non-directive education, child-centered (Pikler, Steiner, Rebeca Wild amongst others) and wish to learn and expand their views and knowledge.
Families participate actively by taking it in turn to cook lunch for the whole group, wash certain items like bibs and an occasional work day.
