MOMO is an active infant and primary school, where Catalan, Spanish and English co-exist. The ages of the children go from 3 to 12 years old.
In MOMO the children and adults live, laugh, cry, we unlearn and we learn. We accompany the children with love and respect to learn to live with and work through their emotions, joys and conflicts, teaching them to see them all as the opportunities they are. We learn to be open to experiences without judgement thereby being open to what life brings each moment.
At the same time we create contexts that proportion curriculum based learning. This learning happens with a competence based curriculum that is based on a constructivist idea of the art of educating through the use of prepared spaces and materials that support active and experiential learning. This also includes workshops and excursions, interest groups, gamification etc... The guide supervises and accompanies this process respecting the individual ways of understanding and integrating information.
