Inspired by Summerhill, our project offers a unique blend of democratic schooling and sustainable living, featuring a plant-based canteen and a strong focus on emotional health over academics.
We emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, entrepreneurship, and child-led, project-based education.
Created by and for families seeking an alternative and respectful education, Barefoot Hearts provides children aged 3 to 12 the opportunity to shape their own learning journey while deeply engaging with nature and embracing the values of compassion, responsibility, and environmental stewardship.
