Dandelion is a Nature Education Project aimed at girls and boys from 2 years old
It is based on active pedagogies, living education, free play and respectful accompaniment.
At Dandelion, children live, learn and develop in a democratic and respectful context, in which their needs, interests and rhythms are understood and cared for individually and collectively. They are the active agents of their own human development in a non-directive context, with which we adults accompany them in their inner, physical, social and emotional growth from respect and heart, while we learn day by day from all the experiences and experiences that are generated spontaneously in the forest.
The experiential and experiential learning that flows from the interests of the children and from life itself is a fundamental pillar in our project, where education is not conceived for life, but for us education is life itself.
Furthermore, the natural environment in which we are located, the Canyada del Conill recreational area, offers us a large number of benefits on a physical, cognitive, social, cognitive and emotional level, since numerous scientific studies show that a continued stay in the nature involves, among other aspects: the reduction of stress, improved health, greater sensory development, increased security and self-esteem, movement favors brain and neuronal development, favors balanced physical, motor and muscular development, greater development of the creativity, increased conflict resolution capacity, increased risk self-management... benefits among many others that are necessary for the comprehensive and balanced development of the human being.
Furthermore, the bond that is generated with nature is also very important, leading to respect, value and love for it. Living in it and being part of it leads us to be aware of the importance of taking care of it.
You can attend continuously every day or choose a certain number of days a week, depending on the needs of the families.
