Madre de dia
We have created this project to unite like minded families who believe in a consciencious upbringing for their children that is enriched with the beauty of nature. We strive to allow children the freeedom to learn and evolve physically and emotionally in their own time and work with children form ages 1 to 6 years old.
Our intimate groups are supervised by respectful adults who encourage free play but who also guide using Montessori approved methods, depending on the abilities and interests of the child. We endeavor to encorporate activities into the child's play that will help develop their psychomotor skills and heighten their sense.
There is an arts and craft station, a potters wheel and an introduction to carpintery day. We also have a native English speakers come and visit us once a month to help the children get accostomed to different languages.
Our learning area is rich in the simplicity of country living, such as working in the kitchen garden, looking after the hens, and going for short outings to the woods and our bioconstruction project. We also encorage a healthy diet of local and seasonal produce.
