Iniciativa pedagógica de crianza en la naturaleza
Ses Milanes is an educational initiative created in 2014 by a group of parents whom self-direct its operations. They came together in order to offer their children an alternative to pre-school public education. Rather than attending daycare or early childhood schooling, the children go to Nature. Sa Comuna Forest, located in the outskirts of Bunyola, and the community garden in the center of town, are the places of play and learning. Every morning, no matter what the weather, the children explore, discover, observe, eat and rest together. An awning protects them in the case of rain or strong sunlight. When poor weather doesn’t permit outdoor activity, days are spent within the public town library.
