Ses Milanes, a pedagogical initiative of education in nature, was founded in 2014 by a group of parents who self-manage its activities. It is aimed at families with children between two and six years old. The kids spend the mornings in the forest and in the community garden of Bunyola, accompanied by Raquel (Early Childhood Teacher, Psychomotricist, emotional accompaniment) and Teresa (Biologist, Environmental Educator, Forest School Leader)
Free play and a close relationship with nature are encouraged, thus promoting a change in the perception of the environment: Nature is not a commodity, it is the foundation of our existence. (At the same time the psychophysical skills of children are developed and enhanced in the primordial classroom of humanity). The project is inspired by models such as the Grasshopper Nature Playgroup in Madrid or the Wanderkindergarten in Wiesbaden, Germany.
