Cuatronaranjos is an active and comprehensive Primary school project where each child can develop all their potentialities, in a context of trust and respect and in continuous dialogue with the members that make up the educational community and their social context.
EDUCATE TO BE
We are inspired by the thought that considers the human being holistically, as a whole. An integrated unit in which the different dimensions: physical, affective-emotional, relational and intellectual, depend on each other to build being.
As described by the United Nations in the final document of the 1993 World Conference on Human Rights, integral education is understood as one that seeks for each individual to find their identity and give meaning to their life through links with the community, the natural world and
the values. It expressed the need to “guide education towards the full flourishing of the person and towards the strengthening of human rights and fundamental freedoms. It is a integral education capable of preparing autonomous subjects and respectful of the freedoms of others ”.
PEDAGOGICAL BASES
Learning, therefore, cannot be understood outside of a constructivist perspective that promotes education on all levels of the human being and that seeks to awaken an intrinsic devotion to life, the environment and a passion for learning.
To this we add fundamental tools on the knowledge of the evolutionary stages and the human being contributed by authors such as Montessori, Waldorf or the Reggio Emilia schools; Contributions verified and backed by advances in neuroscience and psychology and that form the basis of our school.
SCHOOL FOR ALL
Within this line, our school is based on INCLUSION. An inclusion that UNESCO defines as one that personalizes and designs its learning and situations tailored to all children and that is supported and enriched by the diversity of needs, skills and competences.
HOMOLOGATION
Cuatronaranjos Murcia Active School is a North American elementary school accredited by one of the most internationally prestigious American entities: New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). The complete accreditation process lasts from 4 to 5 years, in which our center is inspected annually to ensure that it meets all the required standards. The entry into the accreditation process has allowed us to request the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Murcia region for permission to operate as a foreign center in Spain. The qualification obtained by our students will be valid both in the United States and in Spain.
ENGLISH
Learning English is done from the communicative approach of the language. Children learn the second language in a natural way and comparable to the process of acquiring their mother tongue, in real and meaningful contexts. For this, each group will have a teacher in the classroom who will guide and accompany them in learning English, being exposed to the second language at all times.
