In the Espai Educatiu Baladre project, we look at education as a comprehensive process that impacts the individual as a whole. Our proposal is aimed at families with boys and girls from 6 to 12 years old, offering an alternative to conventional educational models based on an experiential and experimental pedagogical base. Located in the Granja Escola Baladre, our project takes place in the middle of nature, promoting respect for living beings and environmental sensitivity. We adopt an educational approach focused on affection, secure attachment and respect, providing individualized attention to each child throughout their emotional and learning processes in a coherent and affective way. Our learning proposals adapt to the rhythms of each child, creating an environment that stimulates growth through projects (Knowledge of the environment) agenda decided by them in assembly, workshops (Mathematics, Reading, Writing, Cooking, DIY, Horse Riding/horses, Music, etc.) and also through the exploration of each child's own interests in different environments. We consider free play as the natural means to relate, learn about the world and develop socially, dedicating much of the time to this activity to foster the desire to learn, explore and stimulate motor and imaginative development. Each space, both interior and exterior, is designed to promote coherence and harmony with our principles, facilitating free movement, stimulating curiosity and attending to individual needs at all times.
