The non-profit association Waldorf Ibiza is developing an alternative educational project in Ibiza, based on educating the child towards freedom — an artistic endeavor in a free and creative environment, focused on the child’s developmental stages.
The teachers educate and teach by integrating intellectual, artistic, and practical-manual elements into their lessons. In their weekly faculty meetings, they subject their work to in-depth analysis as part of an ongoing process of professional development and renewal. These schools do not pressure children with exams or performance demands, but instead foster cooperative development with an emphasis on individuality.
