A DIVERSE AND ENRICHING LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
We offer a personalized approach, and our international community ensures a multicultural experience. Here, each student develops an authentic connection to learning, growing up in an environment that values both tradition and innovation.
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
The kindergarten classroom welcomes children between the ages of 3 and 6 in a warm, loving and rhythmic environment, where they gradually integrate all the conceptual and relational tools they need for the maximum deployment of their unique abilities in the future.
In a natural environment, in contact with the seasons of the year and their qualities, children confidently surrender to the world around them. Natural toys and carefully chosen elements allow children to explore to the fullest and these sensory experiences become the foundation for all future learning.
Through stories and narrations in English and Spanish, children acquire the linguistic skills appropriate to their developmental stage.
PRIMARY EDUCATION
At the Rudolf Steiner Waldorf School the children are greeted by their teachers one by one, holding hands and looking into each other's eyes. The intensity of academic life is sustained by the warm and firm bond between teachers and students and by the experience of belonging that the group of children offers. Each day begins with the main class, which includes basic skills development and practice, mental arithmetic, music and drawing. The first half of the day is devoted to academic subjects, while the second half covers arts and crafts activities.
In primary school, the teachers at the Rudolf Steiner Waldorf International School use creative methods to present the academic content, language, mathematics, history, geography, etc., are received with emotion by the children, and it is this emotion that makes this knowledge available for life.
From the Waldorf point of view, the greatest power of learning is in direct experience. That is why we privilege it over the relationship with the use of technological devices. Creativity, imagination sustained in the development of practical skills.
