Mayrit Escuela Activa is an international center of infant and primary education (3 to 12 years old) endorsed by the United States, authorized as a foreign center by the Community of Madrid (center code 28076848) that develops a respectful educational project in Madrid. In addition, we are currently working on the development of a secondary school project, along the same educational lines.
The pedagogical project is based on active pedagogy, with various contributions such as Montessori pedagogy, Pestalozzi School (R.y M.Wild), Loris Malaguzzi (Reggio Emilia), Creative Education (Arno Stern) among others. Fundamentally, at Mayrit we work from the children's motivations so that they are the true protagonists of their learning processes. The attention to the emotional world of each child, unrepeatable and unique, together with the care and accompaniment in the resolution of conflicts between children through dialogue and empathy make Mayrit a safe place for them to be happy, grow and learn with freedom.
In short, in this educational space our sons and daughters can develop, with respect and affection, to the fullest.
Mayrit is a non-profit initiative, which practices work ethics, open to its environment and its closest realities, with the vocation of being a seed of social transformation through education to be happy and develop freely and consciously.
Enthusiasm and involvement. These are the two pillars on which Mayrit is built and on which we continue to build day by day.
All economic efforts (with the monthly payment of fees) and human capital are dedicated to ensure that the pedagogical project can be developed in the most optimal way.
We are located in Pozuelo, in the urbanization La Cabaña next to the M-40 and 501. It is located next to the Montegancedo forest.
