Semillas Early Childhood School is a space for early childhood where care, emotional bonding and deep listening support each child’s development. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we understand children as active protagonists, capable of exploring, researching and expressing themselves through multiple languages within a rich and meaningful environment. From the perspective of Emmi Pikler, we respect individual rhythms, free movement, and the importance of a sensitive, stable and conscious adult presence that accompanies without invading.
Families are an essential part of the educational project: we walk together, building community through trust, dialogue and shared responsibility. Semillas is an inclusive school, open to diversity, committed to the real participation of people with disabilities and to an ethical and social perspective that understands difference as an opportunity for collective learning and human growth. Our environmental project, with the school garden as a central pillar, allows children to connect with nature through direct experience, understand the cycles of life, care for the environment and develop an early ecological awareness rooted in respect, sustainability and shared responsibility.
