Associació Escola del Bosc la Comella was born in september 2022 with the project El Niu de la Comella, a project of Living Education, Nature and Art, for children from 1 to 6 years old.
With great desire to continue with El Cau de la Comella, a Living Education, Nature and Art project for children over 6 years of age.
It is located in Tarragona, in a unique space surrounded by the 8 hectares of La Comella forest and with the sculptures of Rufino Mesa.
It is a Living Education space because children learn how to live, manage their emotions, live together with the environment from respect, know themselves and the world around them.
A project with proposals and spaces prepared for an experimental and respectful learning with individual tempos.
The calm attitude, the presence and the observation of the companions are essential for the well-being of the children and to guide the learnings they need and desire to achieve.
We offer a globalizing methodology through art and nature:
Art, present in the spaces and the proposals, help us to connect with our inner world, our creativity, and to achieve the tools to go through the paths of life in a unique way.
Having the opportunity to grow up surrounded by nature makes us realize that nature is not a people’s resource, but a home, something bigger which we are part of, like the rest of the animals and plants live, and that we must really take care of.
