Nature is our classroom. Our staff are specialists in Montessori, Waldorf and Forest-school pedagogues.
Different interests, rhythms and learning styles of each child are taken into account through emphatic communication, providing emotional management tools.
Our spaces are specifically designed to develop symbolic play and free movement, through activities that promote autonomy and their self-esteem. Those activities are immersed in a rhythmic pattern and accompanied by gestures, songs and short stories, so they offer structure and stability and harmony.
Psychomotor, cognitive and socio-affective development is crucial at this stage, we give them the space and freedom to develop it though encouraging their curiosity, motivation and interest in the world around them.
To link with Nature favours environmental awareness and helps creating safe and healthy relationships with others and with oneself.
Rhythm and routine offers security and orientation in space and time, so they can feel safe in a familiar environment full of possibilities.
Corazón de Aguacate also offers guidance and some workshops to the families.
Our project stands out from others for taking advantage of the resources of nature and respectful and innovative techniques, to transmit the curricular contents of early childhood education without the limitations of the conventional school.
