🌱 Urban Gardening at Lumina Academy 🌱

One of our most loved enrichment activities, Urban Gardening gives children the opportunity to connect with nature through hands-on learning. From planting seeds and caring for vegetables to exploring soil, composting and sustainable growing methods, children discover where food comes from and develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Through gardening, children learn patience, responsibility and teamwork while experiencing the joy of watching something they have nurtured grow and flourish. It is a beautiful blend of science, sustainability and practical life skills that encourages curiosity, confidence and a lifelong connection with nature.
