Semillas al viento is a non-profit socio-educational Association, with a project that is alive and grows every day thanks to the support of all the people who form it and who believe in it. It is a very familiar space, where affection and respect are the pillars that support it. The Seeds in the Wind space is subdivided into two spaces: El Nido (0-3 years) and Semillas (3-6 years)
El Nido and Semillas are educational projects that are born from careful reflection on education and learning processes. These represent a part of our current society, and their demand for the development of our children in the face of a dogmatic and vertical education, which we consider to be an industry that creates competitive rather than competent beings. For this reason, we have decided to take another path and consider an alternative that allows children and their families to grow in a respectful and caring way.
EL NIDO (0-3 YEARS OLD)
PROJECT FEATURES
The project is characterized by offering a respectful and comprehensive education for 0-3 years old kids, which favors the optimal development of the children, preparing their way to autonomy.
Our starting point is to adapt to the individual needs of each child at each specific moment of its development. For this, it seems essential to us not to close ourselves to any pedagogical proposal, using the one that best suits each circumstance and we do not believe that any of these pedagogical proposals adjusts by itself to the extraordinary complexity of each child. Instead, we use many of its materials, which are excellent as instruments to awaken the innate curiosity of children.
PEDAGOGICAL PROPOSAL
Our pedagogical proposal consists of:
- A pedagogy based on respect for children and their needs, both physical and psychological or emotional.
- Absence of coercion or external pressure that forces learning.
- Total respect for the diversity of learning rhythms of each child.
- Creation of a multifunctional physical space that allows the development of creativity and facilitates sensory experimentation to carefully awaken the innate curiosity of parenting.
- Knowledge of each of the children, their personal circumstances, their motivations and interests, which must necessarily modulate the generic spaces and periods, which make each one of them makes them a unique and unrepeatable being.
- Personalized treatment with each of the children and their families.
- A place of learning for families willing to accompany their children on the road to autonomy and knowledge of their own Being, in its entirety; emotional, intellectual, bodily and spiritual.
- Non-compulsory attendance, taking into account the needs of the children.
- Equal treatment between children and adults.
We try to reproduce a welcoming environment where the children feel at home, and learn through imitation and love. Taking into account the freedom of action of each child does not mean that there are no limits, if not, on the contrary, there is a set of rules of coexistence and respect for the members of the group, the material and the space. It is a home with its rules, its rhythms and its limits, but always treating the children with respect and love. Thus we help the children to strengthen their will and conquer their own freedom.
CALENDAR
El Nido is open from September to July included. With hours from 08:30 to 13:30.
PLAZAS
The number of places is limited to 10 children, with two companions. (1:5)
SPACE
Independent space with a bright room and a bathroom. Large garden area with shade, sandpit and trees.
LENGUAGES
We speak: spanish, english, italian, french and portuguese.

It is committed to the integral formation of children, through an active pedagogy, based on project work and the development of multiple intelligences.
