Kiddos and Fun was born from my deep desire to do things differently: with respect, presence, and love.
It arises from my personal experience and training, but above all from my journey as a mother and my wish to support other families in this intense and transformative stage.
This project is a bilingual space where English is experienced in a natural and everyday way — not through lessons or worksheets, but through play, connection, and sensory exploration. Here, children learn because they feel safe, listened to, and free to discover.
My approach is especially inspired by the Montessori and Pikler pedagogies, and by the values of respectful parenting: accompanying without judgment, setting limits with respect, and trusting the individual rhythms of each child and each family.
In addition to play sessions, I offer workshops in English and mothers’ groups, where we share experiences, emotions, and resources to raise our children from a place of calm and connection.
Behind Kiddos and Fun, it’s me — my name is Esmeralda, and I’m part of the Red de Madres de Día association.
I’ve been working with children for eight years, and I have training in Early Childhood Education, Montessori pedagogy, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
Above all, I hold a deep conviction: that childhood deserves spaces where it can be authentic, and that families also need to feel supported and understood. That’s why I’ve also created support groups in English and Spanish.
