Our school is a different educational space, an alternative to the traditional school, we are based on pedagogical trends that respect children: Reggio Emilia, Montessori, Emmi Pikler....
We look at children with full confidence and firmly believe in their abilities and potential to build their own knowledge in relation to their environment, we listen to them and we respect them.
Emotions are fundamental and we leave space of freedom to the child so that he/she can experience them in a natural way.
We know that the creation of stable emotional bonds with companions offers them security and allows them to focus on their development and promote their autonomy. These bonds are created by basing the relationship between adults and children on respect and trust in their abilities, love, laughter, play... If children know about the adult presence, this provides them with security, both physically and emotionally, and thus they can overcome the challenges they face on a daily basis. We take into account the importance of small groups, so our ratio is 8 or 10 children per chaperone, depending on age.
The relationship with families is fundamental and that is why we want our space to be a place open to families, where you will always be welcome. We undertake this journey together and the way to face it is through collaboration and mutual help.
We give special importance to adaptation, as we are aware that it is a necessary period, not only for the little ones, but also for the older ones, so we respect the rhythms of each one. This adaptation ends when everyone feels safe and at ease.
